ok, so its been almostĀ  a year since ive written. we moved last aug, and still dont have the internet at home. justin has been off work, so we use either his parents internet or the library. i am stilll working out. usually 5/7days a week. justin and i joined the gym SNAP with our tax refund, and paid till dec. its been great having a variety in possibilities, although i still usually stick to treadmill, bike and strength. I am hoping to get certified to be a personal trainer by the end of summer, as the manager at the gym is leaving. i would love love that job.i have figured out i rarely eat enough calories, but when i do its usually late at night and not by too much over. so thats a good thing. justin is still struggling with eating. hes not eating enough for working out. but he is such a scheduled person, that without working he has no schedule. but hopefully itll be soon.

joclyn has loved school out here at clinton prairie. she plays with samantha everyday. so thats great. juls is excited about starting kindergarten in august. besides that nothing too much. no work, working out, and sleeping and eating. same ole thing everyday right now. hoping that changes in the near future. and it is almost 11yrs for justin and my anniversary. its been an interesting time too.

signing off and hoping it doesnt take me as long to keep up this time. but then again i mentioned in the start not very good at keep up on blogs. LOL

last week started out rough for me, but i worked on core alot. i did WALK AWAY THE POUNDS; 30day shred, and bike riding. and 3 days w/ the power 90 AB RIPPER 100 workout. love it.
I got my shoes in from ebay, and granted they are used, and the seller didnt disclose that there were no insoles, but i bought a pair for them, they are nice and comfy. i tested them by running a mile. i admit i walked about .25miles total of that. but the shoes dont support my achilles and heels well, so i think i am gonna have to buy an extra support for that. on the upside, i did the mile in 11 min. WOOHOO, not bad for not running in 9yrs. so that is that.
i havent been eating the best. and moving is stressful but i do find bike riding and now running to be a nice little relief for me.
so get out there and run people. šŸ™‚

hmm, its been a couple weeks, and a dear friend of mine, reminded me it was time foranother entry. thanks syndi. šŸ™‚ well ive been doing the 30day shred about 3-5x a week. dh has tried it a few times in the evening w/ me. so thats nice. during the day when i know im shredding w/ dh, ive been focusing on cardio, walk away the pounds mostly. i got a new FIRM dvd; BURN AND SHAPE… i did about 10mins yesterday and its going back to netflix. too complicated of cardio for simple me. so today i did just the yoga booty ballet dvd that has been sitting neglected for some time. its always nice to change it up. i might actally find a few more on ebay sometime to change it up some more. i have been thinking about running lately. but i need new shoes, and time. too early before dh leaves for work, too hot right when he gets home, and too tired by evening when it cools off. although evening seems most appealing right now. i really wish i could get a double jogger so then i could go w/ the girls. Also on my wish list of things i want besides shoes, more dvds, and a heart rate monitor w/ cal counter, and an mp3 player too. then i think id be ALL set. LOL.
i havent taken new measurements lately, but dont really feel like ive lost much on inches or lbs. i am thinking im not eating enough useful calories, so i may start journaling my food so i can make sure i am not “starving” myself. that sounds so bad too. ugh. ok, so there is my latest update on exercise. and as for water drinking… somedays ive been drinking 32-40oz and others abut 16oz still, depending on the heat. ok, well ive gotta get doing some other stuff, so have an AWESOME DAY.

doing the 30 day shred in 4 days, has to be a new record. so today i did a dvd called “10 min solutions; kickboxing” or something like that. its 5 separate 10min workouts, that involve kickboxin and hand weights. i really enjoy it, might need to put that on a buy list. i hope to do shred again either tomorrow, or start again on monday. eventually ill get to level 2, and nt have to deal with those evil shulderpress, and antierior raise moves. grrr. but oh well.

heres a separate thought. iĀ am thinking about making a nother blog to post about everyday life and stuff like that soon. hope you will check back to see how that goes.

i hope to get some new measurements orĀ stats ineither a week or 2 soĀ  can see if i am actually makingĀ  noticeable difference. o rcheck pics. i did notice that in my pics from the last post, i do almost have some abs,but still not nice looking.

has anyone else notice that i cant stay on a subject too ong? or is just me being jumpy?

ive officially hopped on the 30 day shred bandwagon. Ive done 2 days so far, and i REALLY dislike level 1 strength with the circuits 1/3. i just dont have shoulder strength. biceps are fine, but no shoulders. grrr. guess ill be there a while. at least the recommended 10days. here are my starting stats… here are my stats to update-
weight- 113lbs
waist-(around belly button)28″
chest-(above boobs?) 32″
flexed bicep-10″

and lets see i can figure out how to add my starting pics… ugh.excuse the messy house and the strange angles, i had my 4 and 6yos taking the pics today. so there is my starting point. i guess they will go at the end of the post. anyone know how to get them to be in the post?

i havent decided whether to do this workout everyday or take a break on the weekends. i know ill get burned out if i do it everytday, and dont want that. there are other programs id love to try after this one as well. kinda looking at the power 90. i think thats all on my workout progress. ill keep trying to update.

i am still working on this blogging thing, and the exercise thing. i did fairly well this week. i did take thursday off since i apparently hurt or pulled my hip flexor, it hurtĀ  even to walk, so thurs i didnt do anything. friday i didĀ a what i thought would be an easy workout on exercise tv.com. it was called celebrity shred. i did it, and felt fine,by friday i was a bit sore in the legs. saturday i did a 10min kickbox from sparkpeople, and played around on my BILs bowflex, really justdid bicep curls, upright row, and bent rows, pulling 20lbs. PLUS did my pushups for my pushup challenge. total of 40pushups. working my way up. so here i am sunday, and SOOOO SORE.my inner thighs, and all chest/arm muscles are aching. but guess i am rebuilding muscle. i still havent gotten the nerve to post my bikini pics on here though. i just dont like them. maybe in a few more weeks.Ā  i am starting the 30day shred monday,so ill be posting that progress. maybe ill do a tankini pic so i can show my progress w/o getting too undressed. lol. we’ll see what tomorrow brings. šŸ™‚

i also have figured out that being on your knees and hammering a floor down is a good legs and butt workout too. did that yesterday at our new house. today finishing the peel/stick tile for the girls bathroom. so heres to a more creative workout.

i am trying to keep up on this thing, and my workouts. i do fine throughout the week, but come weekend, i just hate doing it while justin is home.Ā bike riding is great when he is home since i can leave the girls with him. but i hate him watching me do strenght. but id rather do strength thanĀ cardio almost anytime. i hte that it is only recommended 3-4x a week. but ill tell you this… this week has been a bit rough. sunday we had a gathering at the park, and played sotball, and i ran around the girls, and up and down the slide, and swings, and just had fun. and yet after my 25min express workout (FIRM total body time crunch), i am super sore today. so kinda glad to do cardio today. i did 2x of aĀ sparkpeople.com cardio workout, and then some ab stuff. but oh my.

i do plan on taking a bathing suit pic soon, onĀ the diaperswappers board that i frequent, the ladies were posting pics to show how a real womans body looks, especially after kids, its not the pictur of a hollywood body that so many envy. so when i post it there, ill go ahead and post it for the Ā blog world to see too. YIKES>
